Making a Sub/Sacrificial Fence

If needed, a user-made sub-fence can be added to the MG-36/MG-36PRO for additional support. The steps below cover sub-fence construction, attachment, and flip stop height adjustment. Hardware sourcing references are provided at the end of this article.

Sub Fence Construction & Attachment

If needed, users can make and utilize sub-fences for additional support. You can secure the sub-fence onto the aluminum fence body of the MG-36/MG-36PRO by using a countersunk head screw and rectangular nut. We recommend using at least 6 sets of screws and nuts for securing the sub-fence.

Hole spacing: 34.25 mm / 13.00 mm
Fastener: M6 Nut
Max sub-fence thickness: 20 mm

Adjusting the Flip Stop Height

To position the flip stop (T) closer to the table surface, loosen Screw (R) and adjust the Block Holder (S). Once the flip stop height is at the desired position, re-secure Screw (R).
