How to: Mounting the RT-10A Rear Table (or Custom Tables) to the Big Eye Fence System
The Big Eye Fence System includes everything needed to mount the RT-10A Rear Table or a custom rear extension table directly to the rear rail—no additional brackets required from the RT-10A kit.
Instead of using the Master Rip Fence System mounting brackets (which are only compatible with Master Rip rails), you will use the two Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks provided in your Big Eye Fence System package.
Follow the steps below to complete the installation:
Tools & Components Needed:
Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks (included with Big Eye Fence System)
RT-10A Rear Table (or custom table
Allen wrench set (for adjusting the screws)
Open End/Adjustable/ or Socket Wrench Set
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Assemble the Leg Sections and Install the Mounting Brackets
Thread the short leg sections onto the long sections. They can be installed so that it is either at the top of the leg or the lower part of the leg, but if installing on top, you may need to switch which ends of the legs have the bracket mounting screw and foot installed.

Unthread the pre-installed leg mounting bracket screw from the long leg section and secure the mounting bracket to the end of the leg.

Step 2: Mount the Legs to the Table Frame
Align the holes in the leg mounting brackets with the holes on the table frame and secure the legs to the rear frame, opposite the side with the table's miter slot openings, using a hex wrench and open-end/socket/adjustable wrench.

Step 3: Installing the Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks
On the underside of the RT-10A Rear Table, ensure that the default mounting brackets that come with it are not installed. These are for the Master Rip Fence System and are not compatible with the Big Eye. If the RT-10A was previously mounted to the Master Rip Fence System rear rails and the mounting brackets were installed, remove them.
Remove two screws and their spring and flat washers from the included mounting brackets and use them for mounting the Big Eye's Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks to the table frame side below the miter slots.

Position the Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks on the mounting holes of the table frame as shown below.

Step 4: Slide the Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks to Rear Rail
Fully loosen the set screws on both the Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks.
Slide the table's Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks onto the rear rail of the Big Eye Fence System and position the table so that it aligns with the seam of the main table, and both the main table T-slots and RT-10A miter slots are centered with each other. If an ST-1500 sliding table is installed, the table can be aligned flush against the slider frame for a quick and easy reference.

Step 5: Check the Table Coplanarity
Once the table is aligned and in your desired position, use a straight edge to check the coplanarity of the outfeed table with the main table and adjust the feet as needed to achieve an evenly flush surface across both the main table and outfeed table.
**Caution**: It is essential to have a flush surface across the main table and outfeed table to help prevent higher risk of dangerous kickback due to catching or the cut from dipping.
Slide a miter gauge all the way out from the main table's T-slots until the miter bar enters the RT-10A miter slots and confirm there are no obstructions or issues with slot alignment.

Step 6: Position and Secure
Once the table is aligned and in your desired position, locate the set screws on the underside of each Fixed Block and use an Hex/Allen wrench to tighten the set screws. This will lock the table securely in place on the rear rail.

Optional Foot Extensions:
- Included with the RT-10A are a pair of leg extensions. These are optional and are only used in some cases where the feet threads are not long enough to reach the floor and achieve a level table surface with main table. In most cases these will not be used, and may be too long to have installed without significantly skewing the angle of the RT-10A table on the leg side upward. Cases where the extension may be appropriate would be if the saw was on a mobile base that raised the cabinet 2-inches or more off of the ground.
- If using an M-1500 or M-1500Pro the Extensions may be too long to be used.
- Here is an image that shows how the extensions can be installed onto the feet if necessary.

Final Check
Double-check all screws and set screws for tightness.
Ensure the table is level and firmly attached.
Ensure the fence has clearance to move over the main table freely.

You're all set! Your rear table is now securely mounted to the Big Eye Fence System using the included Rear Extension Table Fixed Blocks.
