Freight Delivery Policy — LTL Freight Requirements
⚠ Important — LTL Freight Requirements
The carrier will call you to arrange a delivery appointment prior to delivery. You must be present to accept the delivery and sign for it.
The delivery is "curbside" — the carrier will not enter your driveway and will place the load at the curbside. There may be extra charges for remote regions.
Lift gate services, delivery to a home or commercial address, appointment requirements, and shipping insurance are all included in the shipping rate.
Your roadway must be tractor-trailer accessible. Contact us at info@harveywoodworking.com if your road is dirt, gravel, a dead end, or a cul-de-sac for alternative options.
Freight companies do not allow drivers to unload freight or move it to your garage or shop. For further information, contact info@harveywoodworking.com.
Delivery Appointments

All freight deliveries to a residential address will require an appointment. The freight carrier will generally call one to two days ahead to set up the appointment, and you must be present to inspect and sign for the delivery.

It is important that you verify that the number of items/pieces on the proof of delivery matches what you receive and that no items are missing.

Please ensure you provide a valid phone number at checkout to avoid delays — carriers use this number to contact you for scheduling.

Freight companies may post delivery estimates on their tracking websites, but they will not attempt delivery without an appointment. After the initial call, appointments must be scheduled within two to three days. After that window, storage fees may apply.

Tractor-Trailer Accessible Roadways

Freight items will be delivered with a tractor-trailer. Your road must have adequate space for the driver to maneuver and must be able to support the weight of the vehicle.

If you have any doubt that your road can accommodate a tractor-trailer, the best option may be to take delivery at your local freight terminal, where the carrier can load the freight directly into your vehicle.

Freight companies will not drive on private driveways or unpaved roads. Delivery to remote or rural locations may incur additional fees or require pickup from the freight terminal.

Curbside Delivery

Truck drivers are not required to assist with moving the load beyond the curbside drop-point. Please be prepared with any necessary equipment, as you are responsible for moving the item(s) from the curb to your shop.

If you do not have a loading dock or other means to unload your item(s), a liftgate service will lower the freight to the ground for you to maneuver to its desired location. Liftgate service is included with the shipping charges. For indoor delivery services, contact info@harveywoodworking.com.

Bridge City Tools — International Orders

For purchases made at www.bridgecitytools.com with a shipping address outside of the US, there may be international shipping freight and additional import fees or customs duties.

If customs clearance is not completed when products are being delivered, the package may be delayed or, in some cases, returned to the sender or seized by customs.

If packages are returned due to delayed customs clearance, the customer shall bear the cost of return freight, import taxes, and re-shipment. Harvey Industries International Inc. shall not be responsible for damage to tools resulting from multiple shipments.
