TRUCK FREIGHT REQUIREMENTS 

 

IMPORTANT

  • Canceling an order will incur a 5% processing fee for online credit card transactions.
    **Cancelation requests can only be completed for orders that have not left our shipping facility. If an order has shipped from our facility the request will be treated as a return request.
  • Preparing and shipping an order from our facility can take 3–7 business days.
  • The carrier will call you to arrange a delivery appointment. You must be present to accept the delivery. The delivery is "curbside,” meaning the carrier will not enter your driveway. There may be extra charges for remote regions.
  • Lift gate services, delivery to a home or commercial address, appointment requirements, and shipping insurance are all included in shipping.
  • Your roadway must be tractor-trailer accessible (contact us at info@harveywoodworking.com if your road is dirt, gravel, a dead end, or a cul-de-sac for other options). Will Call at a local terminal may be necessary in these cases.
  • Freight companies do not allow drivers to unload freight or move it to your garage/shop or private property. Contact us directly at info@harveywoodworking.com for more information.
  • In the event of any damage or missing items, you must report it within 17 days.
  • Items valued at $500 or higher will necessitate an adult signature during delivery. To ensure the successful receipt of your item, kindly arrange your availability to accommodate the delivery.
  • If you alter the mailing address after placing your order, there can be extra fees involved

Delivery Appointments

All freight deliveries to a residential address will require an appointment for delivery. The freight carrier will generally call one or two days ahead of time to set up the appointment, and you must be present to inspect and unload the freight. Please ensure you provide a valid phone number in the space provided on the checkout page to avoid any delays in getting your item. Freight companies may post delivery estimates on their tracking websites, but they will not attempt delivery without an appointment. After the initial phone call with the delivery company, appointments must be scheduled within two to three days. Failing to do so might result in storage fees or re-shipment charges, for which you would be liable. Therefore, we encourage you to consider any potential unavailability before placing your order.

Tractor-Trailer Accessible Roadways

Freight items will be delivered with a tractor-trailer and therefore your road must have adequate space for the trucker to maneuver and must be able to support the weight of the vehicle. If you have any doubt that your road can accommodate a tractor-trailer, the best option may be for you to take delivery at your local freight terminal. The terminal will load the freight directly into your vehicle and you can then get it to the spot needed at your home or business. Freight companies will not drive on private driveways or unpaved roads. Delivery to remote or rural locations may incur additional fees or be required to be picked up from the freight terminal.

 

Curbside Delivery

Truck drivers are subject to a number of regulations, one of which is that they are not required to assist with bringing the items to your doorstep. Please be prepared for this “curbside” delivery, as you are responsible for unloading the item(s) and placing them in your shop. This normally takes a couple of “friends.” If you do not have a loading dock or other means to unload your item(s), you will require Liftgate Service. This service will lower the freight to the ground, allowing you to then maneuver the item to its desired location. Local Pick Up


At the time of pickup, valid identification (State ID, driver's license, passport, etc) must be presented & match the order's information before the order is released from Harvey Industries Intl.


If you selected Local Pickup as your shipping option, then you will receive an email notification when

your order is ready for pickup. From there, you will need to contact us to schedule your

appointment for the local pickup.


Once you've been notified via email there is a 90-day period to conduct pick up on your order, failure to do so will result in the cancelation of the order, and standard cancelation fees will apply.


If a third-party carrier is used, then the third party must provide a completed BOL (Bill of Lading) ahead of pick-up before any order is released from Harvey Industries Intl.

Return Policy

Returns without prior authorization are not accepted. Contact our Customer Service Department at 888-211-0397 or info@HarveyWoodworking.com or info@bridgecitytools.com before returning any merchandise. 


Provide original purchase information such as purchase order number, confirmation number, and/or invoice number.


Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.

Cancellation Policy

Although commonly accepted, order cancellations may result in a 5% online payment processing fee if refunded back to the original payment method. Using PayPal does not impose a 5% fee for processing online payments. Full refunds may be accepted as store credit.
If the order has already been processed, the cancellation may not be accepted. If we need to stop shipments and return an order, there could be additional fees. The initial delivery costs are not refundable.

 *Price adjustments for sale items are limited to one per order and must be requested within 7 days of purchase. These adjustments will be provided exclusively as store credit. Beyond this period, no further accommodations will be available. 

*Please note that orders with a future estimated ship date are presently on backorder. By proceeding with your order, you acknowledge your agreement to await the specified date of shipment. In the event of cancellation before this date, kindly be aware that the 5% credit card fee is non-refundable.

*Ensure to place orders through the correct country-specific store to avoid cancellations; utilize ".ca" for Canadian purchases and ".com" for United States purchases. Incorrectly processed orders may require cancellation and re-purchasing through the appropriate platform.
