We have included a short video below of what to expect with a freight delivery from our Company.
All freight deliveries to a residential address will require an appointment. The freight carrier will generally call one to two days ahead to set up the appointment, and you must be present to inspect and unload the freight. Please ensure you provide a valid phone number at checkout. Freight companies may post delivery estimates on their tracking websites, but they will not attempt delivery without an appointment. After the initial call, appointments must be scheduled within two to three days — failing to do so may result in storage fees or re-shipment charges for which you would be liable.
To ensure proper handling of tax-exempt purchases, customers must submit all required tax exemption documentation to info@harveywoodworking.com before placing an order.
Freight items will be delivered with a tractor-trailer. Your road must have adequate space for the driver to maneuver and must support the weight of the vehicle. If you have any doubt, the best option may be to take delivery at your local freight terminal — the terminal will load the freight directly into your vehicle. Freight companies will not drive on private driveways or unpaved roads. Delivery to remote or rural locations may incur additional fees or require freight terminal pickup.
Truck drivers are not required to assist with bringing items to your doorstep. Please be prepared for curbside delivery — you are responsible for unloading the item(s) and placing them in your shop. If you do not have a loading dock, a Liftgate Service will lower the freight to the ground for maneuvering. Liftgate service is automatically applied to your shipping charges. Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle that is appropriately sized, structurally sound, and capable of safely transporting the purchased product. While our team may offer assistance with loading, this is done at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse assistance if the vehicle is unsuitable, if loading presents a risk of damage, or if it poses a safety hazard.
Once a product has been picked up, the customer assumes full responsibility for securing and transporting it safely. Harvey Industries Intl. is not liable for damage due to improper loading, securing, or transport.
Valid identification (State ID, driver's license, passport, etc.) must be presented at time of pickup and must match the order's billing information before the order is released.
If you selected Local Pickup, you will receive an email notification when your order is ready. You will then need to contact us to schedule your pickup appointment. Once notified, there is a 90-day period to pick up — failure to do so will result in cancellation and standard cancellation fees.
If a third-party carrier is used, a completed Bill of Lading (BOL) must be provided ahead of pickup before any order is released.
Returns without prior authorization are not accepted. Contact our Customer Service Department at info@HarveyWoodworking.com or info@bridgecitytools.com before returning any merchandise. Provide original purchase information (purchase order number, confirmation number, and/or invoice number). Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
View Full Return Policy ↗Although commonly accepted, order cancellations may result in a 5% online payment processing fee if refunded to the original payment method. PayPal does not impose a 5% fee. Full refunds may be accepted as store credit.
If the order has already been processed, the cancellation may not be accepted. If we need to stop shipments and return an order, there could be additional fees. The initial delivery costs are not refundable.
* Price adjustments for sale items are limited to one per order and must be requested within 7 days of purchase, provided exclusively as store credit. No further accommodations beyond this period.
* Orders with a future estimated ship date are on backorder. By proceeding with your order, you acknowledge agreement to await the specified ship date. In the event of cancellation before this date, the 5% credit card fee is non-refundable.
* Ensure to place orders through the correct country-specific store — use .ca for Canadian purchases and .com for United States purchases. Incorrectly processed orders may require cancellation and re-purchasing.
* You are responsible for reading our return guidelines, which can be found at the bottom of our website page.
