SC-800/1000 Synchronized Control: Configuration Options

The SC-800/1000 Synchronized Control offers flexible integration for various shop setups and can be configured in multiple ways depending on your workflow.

Multi-Machine Setup Example

One commonly used configuration includes multiple dust-generating machines (Dust Source Equipment) connected through a power distribution unit. As long as the total combined amperage does not exceed 32A, multiple machines can be wired into this power distributor.

The distributor is then connected to the SC-800/1000 Synchronized Control, which is in turn wired to the main power supply. This setup enables the synchronized control to wirelessly activate the G-800 or G-1000 Dust Processor when any of the connected machines are powered on.

See example photo below demonstrating one Synchronized Control managing two dust sources and one dust processor.

Alternative Configuration: Multiple Synchronized Controls

Another viable setup for the SC-800/1000 Synchronized Control involves using multiple controllers—one per machine. This configuration is recommended when the combined amperage of the connected dust-generating machines exceeds 32A, making it unsuitable to run through a single control unit.

In this case, each dust-producing machine would have its own dedicated synchronized control, which can independently signal the G-800 or G-1000 Dust Processor to power on wirelessly when that specific machine is activated.

This setup allows for:

  • Greater flexibility in high-demand shop environments

  • Safe operation when using larger machinery with higher current requirements

  • Reliable dust collection activation without risking overload on a single control unit
