At present, the HP-8v2 is not compatible with the Chopstick Master Jigs (CSMv1 and CSMv2). This incompatibility arises because the depth skids on the HP-8v2 are manufactured from metal, which would cause wear on the Chopstick Master jig. By contrast, the depth skids supplied with the Chopstick Master HP-8 are constructed from plastic to prevent such wear.
Furthermore, the updated ergonomic design of the HP-8v2 results in shorter depth skids. This modification requires closer installation points on the plane body, making it impossible to fit the plastic depth skids from the Chopstick Master HP-8 onto the HP-8v2.
