The Compass ST-1500 Sliding Table comes with pre-drilled holes designed to be compatible with the models shown in the diagram below, allowing for convenient mounting.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of all machines or hole patterns that may be compatible with the ST-1500. If your equipment does not have pre-existing holes that align with the ST-1500’s mounting pattern, you have two primary options:
Modify the ST-1500: Widen the existing holes or drill new through-holes in the sliding table to match the hole pattern of your equipment.
Modify the Equipment: Drill and tap new threaded holes in the mounting surface (e.g., the left wing, main table, or other appropriate areas).
When mounting the Compass ST-1500, it is critical that the sliding table surface be positioned 0.010" to 0.020" higher than the surface of the machine it is being installed on. This slight height difference ensures proper clearance for workpieces and the crosscut fence to glide smoothly over the stationary table surface without friction.
