Overview

This guide walks through installing or replacing the saw blade on the Alpha HW110S table saw. Follow all safety precautions and ensure the saw is disconnected from power before beginning.

Table Saw Safety
+
Disconnect the saw from power before installing or adjusting the blade. Never change blades while the machine is connected to a power source.
+
Wear safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves when handling saw blades. Blade teeth are extremely sharp and can cause serious cuts even when stationary.
+
Wear fitted clothing and avoid dangling jewelry or loose accessories that could get caught in the saw during operation.
+
Use push sticks or push blocks when cutting small pieces during operation. Ensure blade guards are in place and functioning before cutting.
+
Read the instruction manual for your specific table saw model before proceeding. Familiarize yourself with all safety features and operational guidelines.
Required Tools (included with saw)
24mm wrench — for holding the arbor shaft
27mm wrench — for loosening and tightening the arbor nut
Installation Steps
1
Secure the Arbor & Remove the Nut

Use the 24mm wrench to hold the arbor shaft in place. Use the 27mm wrench to loosen the arbor nut by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the arbor nut and flange washer and set them aside.

2
Remove the Old Blade

Carefully slide the existing blade off the arbor. Handle the blade by the plate, not the teeth.

3
Install the New Blade

Ensure the new blade is no larger than 10″ in diameter with a 5/8″ arbor hole. Confirm the blade teeth face forward — toward the front of the saw.

4
Adjust the Flange Washer (if needed)

Some flange washers include locating pins designed for international (European) blade styles. If these pins prevent your blade from seating flush, use a metric hex key to remove them and set them aside.

See the Arbor Washer Screws FAQ for more detail on locating pins and when to remove them.
5
Reinstall and Tighten the Arbor Nut

Reinstall the flange washer and arbor nut. Ensure the nut is properly seated within the flange washer recess to avoid imbalance or wobble. Use both wrenches to securely tighten the arbor nut.

Final Check

Confirm the blade is securely mounted and spins freely by hand without wobble. Reconnect power and briefly run the saw to verify proper operation before cutting.
