Troubleshooting Uneven Dust Separation – Gyro Air G700

If you're noticing signs of uneven dust separation in your G700—such as:

  • One filter clogging significantly while the other remains clean

  • Dust bins filling unevenly (e.g., front vs. back accumulation)

  • The dust bin full alarm triggering prematurely due to an unbalanced buildup (i.e., sloped dust pile causing a false high reading)

This may be due to the internal airflow configuration, specifically how the internal hoses are oriented relative to the dust separators.

This video provides a step-by-step walkthrough on diagnosing the issue and performing a simple adjustment that may resolve it.

Recommended Solution: Adjust Ring (Part #210)

After reviewing the video, we recommend checking and adjusting the position of the adjust ring (part #210). This component helps control the direction of airflow between the front and rear separators.

Example:

If dust is building up too quickly in the front separator/filter, rotate the bracket slightly to redirect more airflow toward the rear separator. This helps balance the airflow, reducing uneven dust accumulation and preventing filters or alarms from being triggered prematurely.
