Symptoms — Is This Your Issue?

If you are noticing any of the following signs of uneven dust separation in your G-700, this article can help:

!
One filter clogging significantly while the other remains clean
!
Dust bins filling unevenly — e.g., more accumulation in the front vs. back
!
The dust bin full alarm triggering prematurely due to an unbalanced buildup — a sloped dust pile can cause a false high reading
What Causes This?

This is typically due to the internal airflow configuration — specifically how the internal hoses are oriented relative to the dust separators. A simple adjustment to the Adjust Ring (Part #210) can resolve the imbalance.

Step 1 — Watch the Diagnostic Video

This video provides a step-by-step walkthrough on diagnosing the issue and performing the adjustment.

Step 2 — Adjust the Adjust Ring (Part #210)

After reviewing the video, check and adjust the position of the Adjust Ring (Part #210). This component controls the direction of airflow between the front and rear separators.

Example
!
Problem: Dust building up too quickly in the front separator/filter
Fix: Rotate the adjust ring slightly to redirect more airflow toward the rear separator, balancing the dust accumulation and preventing premature filter clogging or false alarms
