Gyro Air Series: Power Requirements

Created by Gabriel Izzo, Modified on Mon, 15 Apr 2024 at 10:20 PM by Gabriel Izzo

The Gyro Air G-700 and G-800 Dust Processors are equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD) that converts the incoming 220V single-phase power into three-phase power, which is then used to operate the three-phase motor.

Importantly, there is no need for a three-phase electrical connection at the outlet to operate these machines. The conversion from single to three-phase power is managed internally by the inverter.

Both the G-700 and G-800 adhere to the NEMA 6-20 electrical standard, which specifies 220V single-phase power with a 20A double-pole breaker.

For those requiring a dust processor with a direct three-phase power supply, our G-1000 model is a great option, compatible with 380-480V three-phase power supply.
