Alpha HW110LC Table Saw: My outlet has two vertical prongs (NEMA 5-15). What can I do?

A NEMA 5-15 outlet, which is rated for 15 amps, is not sufficient to power the Alpha HW110LC table saw. The saw draws up to 16 amps on startup, which can easily overload a 15-amp circuit and may result in tripped breakers or improper operation.

To operate this saw safely and reliably, you will need a NEMA 5-20 outlet rated for 110–125 volts, paired with a 20-amp circuit breaker. The saw is equipped with a NEMA 5-20P plug out of the box to match this requirement.

This electrical specification is also outlined on our website and in the product documentation. For safe and proper operation, please ensure the correct outlet and circuit are used.
