Note: The MB-600 Mobile base has been discontinued and replaced by the Spider Series M-1500/M-1500Pro/M-1500E.
For the MB-600 mobile base, we recommend a minimum thickness of 3/4" for plywood. The MB-600 can accept wood thickness from 3/4" up to 1-1/2".
Note:
- The MB-600 mobile base has a maximum supporting weight of 600 lbs.
- The MB-600 mobile base comes with 2 sets of hardware for different plywood thicknesses.
Please ensure that each plate or base is properly sized and rated to support the corresponding machine, taking into account both the machine's footprint and overall weight. If you need assistance with specific models or custom setups, feel free to reach out to our technical support team.
Below are the recommended dimensions for mounting plates or bases used with Harvey products:
Since the 4HP HW110S-36 weighs approximately 582 lbs and the HW110S-52 weighs around 623 lbs, we do not recommend using the MB-600 with the HW110S-52, as it exceeds the base's rated capacity.
While the HW110S-36 technically falls just under the weight limit, any additional load—such as cutting heavy stock or adding accessories like the Shark S12-S Sliding Table or the Compass Router System—can easily push the total weight beyond the base’s capacity. In such cases, the MB-600 would no longer be suitable.
Please ensure the total combined weight of the saw and any accessories does not exceed 600 lbs when using the MB-600 Mobile Base. Exceeding this limit may compromise stability and mobility.
